Mr. Geraldo Alckmin, accompanied by his spouse, Ms. Maria Lucia Alckmin, visited Gandhi Smriti today on October 17, 2025. During their visit, they paid solemn tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the Martyr’s Column. On this occasion, Shri Vijay Goel, Vice Chairman of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and presented them with a Gandhi Charkha, symbolizing self-reliance and the enduring spirit of Gandhian philosophy. They also exchanged views on the ideas of strengthening India–Brazil relations, particularly in the areas of trade, cultural exchange, art, and heritage preservation. Amb.
